Miravalles, Walkable Crater with Hot Springs

The base of the Miravalles Volcano

This tour will bring us to the base of the Miravalles Volcano, stopping on the way at a picturesque waterfall, where you can swim in a natural pristine pool.

Taking a horse or tractor for a portion of this day trip, we will then hike to the Tropical Rain Forest, with 2 hanging bridges where you will find 3 waterfalls that are rarely seen.

You will then hike to Las Hornillas, an active volcanic crater, which will astonish you with fumaroles, sulfuric rocks, boiling volcanic mud and pools. Here you can enjoy the famous hot springs treatment, which will open your pores in a unique sauna built over a naturally heated mineral pool. You cover your body with volcanic mud taken from the same crater and finish with a relaxing break at a natural hot spring, all this within the view of the Miravalles Volcano.

Note: This tour is available with the unique rain forest zip line in the area, with 11 lines and 12 platforms. You will fly over the treetops of the jungle with a rush of adrenaline.
